Em Puno ficamos no hotel Posada del Inka que hoje leva a bandeira do Sonesta. Esse hotel é famoso entre os overlanders pois tem uma área gramada enorme que pode ser utilizada para camping.

Quando chegamos conhecemos o Daniel e a Jessica, que estavam de saída para Cusco. Em nossa breve conversa ficamos sabendo que eles, seus dois filhos e o cachorro, saíram da Inglaterra, compraram um motorhome na Alemanha (com o volante do lado errado) e embarcaram para a América do Sul em uma viagem que deve durar ainda alguns meses.

O destino final deles será a Colômbia, de onde eles devem voltar para casa e, como estamos fazendo praticamente a mesma rota, esperamos cruzar com eles novamente.

In Puno we stayed at Posada del Inka that now has the Sonesta flag. This hotel is famous between overlanders due to the huge green area that may be used for camping.

When we arrived we have met Daniel and Jessica, but they were just about to leave to Cusco. In our brief chat we learned that they left England with their two sons and a dog, bought a motorhome in Germany with the steering wheel in the wrong side (according to their perspective) and came down to South America for a trip that has some months left.

Their final destination is Colombia, from where they will go back home. Since we are doing practically the same route, we hope our paths cross again soon.
