Esse foi o encontro mais inusitado da viagem (até agora). Estávamos no Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, no final da Ruta 3, quando a Alex nos pediu uma informação sobre a trilha até Laguna Negra, que ficava a cerca de 5 km de onde estávamos.

Quando pegamos o carro e voltamos para a estrada lá estava ela, caminhando no frio. Paramos e oferecemos uma carona (não muito confortável já que o Godzilla não tem um terceiro banco) e acabamos percorrendo o Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego juntos.

A Alex é uma inglesa que deixou tudo para trás e está há 14 meses mochilando pelo mundo. Ela contou que visitou vários países do sudeste asiático e Oceania e estava agora viajando pela América do Sul. Ela terminará a viagem a tempo de voltar para casa para as festas de fim de ano, mas esperamos revê-la antes disso.

This was the most unusual meeting so far. We were at Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, at the very end of the Ruta 3 when Alex asked for directions to a place named Laguna Negra which was 5 km away.

When we returned to the car and got back to the road there she was, walking on the cold Ushuaia Spring. We stopped and offered her an uncomfortable ride (the Godzilla has no back seat) and we ended driving the entire Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego together.

Alex is a british girl that has left everything behind and is backpacking for the last 14 months. She told us that she has visited many countries of the South Asia and the Australian Continent and its now traveling through South America. She will finish her adventure this year just in time for Christmas, but we hope to see her again before that.
