No dia 11/07/15 conhecemos o KP McClanahan e o Winston Wolfrider (http://wwolfrider.tumblr.com) e, como o KP mesmo disse, eles são a dupla de viajantes mais diferente que a gente poderia conhecer; começando pela origem KP – americano e Winston – britânico e pela diferença de idade entre os dois, mas nada disso importa pois eles formam uma grande dupla.

Eles se conheceram a cerca de 1 ano de uma forma muito inusitada, durante uma viagem que o Winston fez pelos EUA. O Winston pegou uma carona e acabou no lugar errado, onde ele conheceu o KP e eles acabaram viajando juntos até a costa oeste dos EUA. Depois disso trocaram algumas mensagens até que decidiram embarcar nessa outra viagem para o Alasca a bordo de um camper. Eles dirigiram do Estado de Nova Iorque até o Alasca e ainda ficarão cerca de 6 semanas na estrada, finalizando a viagem em Portland no Estado do Oregon.

Nós conhecemos os dois pois o KP viu nosso carro parado no hotel e resolveu mandar uma mensagem pelo facebook. Combinamos de tomar uma cerveja a noite e estava tão divertido que nem vimos a hora passar. No dia 12/07/15 todos nós seguimos viagem: eles para o Sul em direção ao Denali Park e nós para o leste sentido Tok.

KP e Winston, foi um enorme prazer conhecê-los. Façam um ótima viagem e até a próxima!

On 07/11/15 we have met KP McClanahan and Winston Wolfrider (http://wwolfrider.tumblr.com) and as KP said, they are two of the most different people we could imagine, starting by the origin, KP – American and Winston – British and for the difference of age between them, but nothing matters because they are just great together.

They have met about 1 year ago in a unusual situation. During a trip that Winston did through the USA, he hitchhiked to the wrong place where he met KP and they traveled together to the west coast of the USA. After that they decided to embark in this trip to Alaska in a camper. They have driven from New York State to Alaska and will stay around for a few weeks before the end of the trip in Portland, Oregon.

We have met KP and Winston because KP saw our car in the hotel and decided to send us a message. We got together for drinks and burgers in the evening and it was so good that we didn’t notice the time flying. Next morning (07/12/15) we all followed our paths, Winston and KP South to Denali Park and Liene and I East to Tok.

KP and Winston, it was a huge pleasure meeting you. Safe travels and we hope our paths cross again.
