Em Fairbanks conhecemos o Claudio Gomes, um brasileiro que vive há 14 anos em Fairbanks. Goiano de coração, o Claudio vive na última fronteira com sua esposa e seus dois filhos que infelizmente não tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer. Antes de nós, o Claudio ainda recebeu o Xixo, Fran e Bá da Nossa Grande Viagem e o casal Amabry e Rosely do Vamos Pro Alasca – muito legal!

Essa semana o Claudio estava bastante ocupado com o trabalho entre Anchorage e Fairbanks; e hoje de manhã ele iria para Prudhoe Bay e só retornaria amanhã a noite, então só pudemos nos encontrar para o café da manhã. A conversa estava tão boa que nem percebemos a hora passar e infelizmente o Claudio teve que seguir para Prudhoe.

Foi um prazer enorme Claudio! Obrigado pelas dicas e pela hospitalidade. Esperamos um dia revê-lo e conhecer sua família (aqui ou no Brasil).

In Fairbanks we’ve met Claudio Gomes, a Brazilian that lives in Fairbanks for 14 years. Born in Goiás, Claudio now lives in the last frontier with his wife and their two children, but unfortunately we had no opportunity to meet them. Before we arrive in Fairbanks, Claudio has also hosted Xixo, Fran and Bá from Nossa Grande Viagem and the couple Amabry and Rosely from Vamos Pro Alasca – very cool!

This week Claudio was really busy with his work between Anchorage and Fairbanks, and today he had to go to Prudhoe Bay in the morning, returning only tomorrow. As a result we could only meet him for a quick breakfast and the conversation was so good that we haven’t even notice the time passing.

Claudio, it was an immense pleasure meeting you! Thanks for the tips and for the hospitality. We hope to see you again and meet your family (here or in Brazil).
